Tamari Roasted Trail Mix
Tamari roasted nuts and seeds are moreish and easy to make. Best of all – they are a healthy snack. Make these to munch on, for afternoon tea, or for a hiking trail mix.
Serves: 2 cups
INGREDIENTS
½ cup FreshLife Pumpkin Seeds
½ cup FreshLife Sunflower Seeds
½ cup FreshLife Natural Cashews
½ cup FreshLife Natural Almonds
2 tbsp tamari
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Pour nuts and seeds onto the tray, drizzle with tamari and toss to coat. Bake for 5 minutes, stir nuts and seeds, then bake for another 5 minutes, until golden and dry.
Let cool before snacking, topping on a salad or roast veggies, or simply storing in a sealed container for later.
Serving suggestions
Serve over salad, roast vegetables, sprinkled over hummus or as a crunchy topper on avocado toast
