Candied Nuts

 

 

Candied nuts are perfect tossed over a pizza, scattered over a salad or served with lightly salted popcorn and are so quick and easy to prepare – ready in less than 10 minutes!

METHOD

  • Line a baking tray with a sheet of grease proof paper.

  • Heat a non-stick pan over a medium heat.

  • Add 1 cup walnuts (or pecans), ¼ cup granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. butter.

  • Stir frequently to ensure the mixture doesn’t burn and the nuts are evenly coated, this will take approx. 5 minutes.

  • Transfer immediately to the baking paper and work quickly to separate the nuts whilst they are still warm.

  • Once cooled, transfer to a storage container.
