Berry Chia Jam
INGREDIENTS
2 ½ Tbsp FreshLife Black Chia Seeds
2 cups of frozen berries (raspberries, strawberries or blueberries), thawed
2 Tbsp water
1-2 Tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
METHOD
Place all the ingredients in a small pan and warm over a medium heat. Stir frequently for a few minutes until the berries soften and break down.
Remove pan from the heat and check the sweetness, add more maple syrup if desired.
Allow to cool uncovered. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
